Built by lifelong educator Will Reusch, Apogee LA partners with families to cultivate self-directed learners who lead with purpose and heart.
Will Reusch
Will Reusch graduated from Penn State University in 2005 with a degree in Secondary Education – Social Studies. Shortly after, he relocated from Pennsylvania to Los Angeles, where he began his teaching career. Over the past two decades, Will has taught in a wide range of educational environments—spanning public and private schools, as well as both low- and high-income communities.
He now teaches homeschool families across the country through his online education platform, Patterdox. Will holds both Multiple Subject (Elementary) and Single Subject (Secondary – Social Science) California teaching credentials. Drawing on his extensive classroom experience, he has built what he considers the ideal learning environment—not only for his own children (Beau, 11; Grey, 8; and Mack, 4) but for other families who share his passion for a high-quality, values-driven education rarely found in traditional systems.
Sheila Bella Reusch
Sheila Bella Reusch is a wife, mom of three boys, and lifelong learner who believes education starts at home. After building multiple seven-figure businesses in the beauty industry, she stepped into homeschooling with the same creativity and passion that fueled her entrepreneurial journey.
Today, Sheila focuses on helping her children grow in character, curiosity, and confidence through hands-on learning and real-world experiences. She brings a background in leadership, public speaking, and business to the homeschool world — showing families that learning can be both purposeful and joyful.
As a Christian, Sheila’s approach to homeschooling reflects her values of gratitude, integrity, and perseverance. Whether she’s leading family projects, building traditions, or finding lessons in everyday life, she loves encouraging parents to create an atmosphere where their children thrive in heart, mind, and spirit.
